Where to start?  My name is Rene and there really is not a whole lot about me to tell.  I'm a simple country girl and I am married to the most wonderful and understanding man that I have ever met. Between the 2 of us, we have 5 great children. The two oldest are mine from a previous marriage, and my husband, Drew, has 3 from a previous marriage.  There are 4 boys and 1 girl, that range in age from 15 all the way down to 3.  

I met my husband in paramedic class back in the winter of 2007 and we were married in May of 2009.  We are both NC certified paramedics but neither of us work as medics any longer.

Drew is working construction and I am a stay at home mom, that originally started writing a blog to help supplement my husband's income. However, I came to realize that I enjoyed blogging and writing (even though I may not be all that great at it!) as it gives me an escape from every day life!  

I love to ride horses and 4 wheelers.  And I'm one of those girls who loves to play games. Not the girly games but the hardcore military type games.  Ghost Recon, Modern Warfare, Call of Duty, Halo and Gears of War, just to name a few.
